New lawsuit filed today related to preschool forcing children to take Benadryl before naptime

Seattle, Washington: In a new lawsuit, Ruiz & Smart LLP represents three young children and their families in a case against a preschool, Little Hands Big Hearts Early Learning, after children reported the owner forced them to take “candy” every day before naptime. The lawsuit centers on assertions that the “candy” was actually Benadryl—known to cause sleepiness—and that the drug was administered to the children without the children’s or the parents’ knowledge or consent. An investigation confirmed numerous children tested positive for the drug. On behalf of the families, Ruiz & Smart’s team of experienced attorneys will seek to hold the daycare accountable for the harm it caused to the families.
